WHAT IS AN INITIAL HEARING?
This is the first in a series of blogs outlining the terms and events relevant to a criminal case. Being charged with a crime is one of the most serious matters any of us can face. Even if you have gone through the criminal justice system before you can find the charges, the various motions and procedures and court appearances confusing and frightening.
